We value our teachers like we value each student we serve. As staff teachers (rather than Independent Contractors), we work cohesively and collaboratively together as a team to provide you with exceptional care, and we are dedicated to helping you feel your best at the end of each session.
Every one of our talented Teachers is trained and mentored by Holly Wallis (our Owner, Director of Education, and Master Teacher), and each member of our team possesses extensive knowledge in Functional Anatomy, Biomechanics, and Post-Rehabilitative protocols so that we are well-equipped to always meet your movement needs.
We invite you to get to know every member of our deeply caring and experienced teaching staff.
Below, you’ll find out more about each of us, how we discovered teaching, and what our clients have to say about working with us.
Master Teacher, NCPT®
Certified Movement & Rehabilitation Specialist
Body Harmonics® Director of US Operations
It was through her own recovery from serious injuries resulting from a car accident that Holly discovered the rehabilitative power of Pilates and functional movement. In 2008, Holly opened her practice in a clinical setting where she was able to apply her Pilates philosophy and education and to create highly effective movement and therapeutic exercise programs for those suffering from a wide range of conditions in every stage of life. Her collaborative approach with other Practitioners ensures the highest level of care for all clients. Here is Holly’s story.
Studio Manager / Pilates Teacher
For over 7 years, Jaclyn has worked with a diverse group of clients of all levels and abilities. She is passionate about helping clients get back in touch with their bodies and to improve postural alignment, body awareness, and overall strength.
Her passion for learning has given her the drive to complete 2 comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training programs as well as to earn 2 Advanced Specialist diplomas in Functional Anatomy & Biomechanics and Post-Rehabilitation.
Jaclyn specializes in back and hip pain, as well as helping people find strength in their posture and balance and eliminate their fear of falling.
Her clients say…
“Jaclyn is AWESOME…she’s the secret to keeping my body from being a stiff mess after working at my computer all week. After our sessions, I definitely feel the difference….I’m pretty sure I’m an inch or two taller!”
“After years of knee pain, then knee replacement, I had lost a lot of strength in my body due to lack of my normal exercise…and feel very fortunate to have found Jaclyn. She’s not only helping me build strength but improves my alignment in a way that’s correcting compensations my body made when I was in pain. I’m getting stronger and my posture has improved.”
As a certified massage therapist for over 5 years, it made perfect sense for Angel to incorporate a comprehensive Pilates certification into her professional practice to help strengthen and heal bodies holistically.
Her own journey with pain has encouraged her to pursue this integrative approach to rehabilitation and has helped form her warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to movement and therapeutic exercise.
Angel specializes in chronic pain, cancer care, lymphatic drainage, and working with bodies of all sizes and shapes.
Her clients say…
“I am SO impressed by her sense of what is right for me, what I can do, what I need to do, her moderation, her explanations, and her wonderful sense of humor.”
“She unknotted my hip, fixed my tremors (they stayed fixed for 3 weeks, which is the longest time ever) and fixed my back pain. We’re now working on the rotator cuff. I can’t thank you enough. She is simply amazing!”
