Anatomy and Biomechanics Specialist - 125 hours

Perfect for anyone that works in the field of movement education, exercise or manual therapy, our Specialist programs help deepen your expertise. We offer three Specialist programs for you to choose from: Functional Anatomy & Biomechanics, Post-Rehab and Diverse Populations. Each one focuses on strategies that help clients of all ages and abilities make meaningful and lasting changes toward moving optimally and naturally.

No previous Pilates experience is necessary. We strongly recommend that you speak with Holly Wallis, Program Director before starting a Specialist program to determine the best way to proceed.

Suggested Time frame
We recommend that you take three to five years to complete the required credits and apply the learned concepts.

About the Program

Learning objectives

Learn key observation and assessment techniques of movement and movement patterns.
 Gain in-depth knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics of all the major joints in the body. Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the body as a complete moving system in order to make educated exercise choices for your clients.

Upon successful completion of all requirements

Every candidate who successfully completes all requirements of the Anatomy and Biomechanics Specialist Program will receive a certificate that reflects this mastery level of training.
