Functional Pilates

ReActive’s programs incorporate Therapeutic Exercise protocols with safe, effective and biomechanically-focused Functional Pilates method.

The concept of Functional Movement allows you to perform activities of daily living with ease and free of pain. Our bodies’ most basic movements are complex and require total integration of posture, joint stability and muscular support for proper biomechanical functionality. Functional Pilates teaches exercise as complete movements, rather than as pieces of movement, to promote optimal movement patterns for life.

All sessions are safe and effective for every body, and incorporate individualized modifications for the most beneficial movement experience for all participants. Private sessions incorporate large apparatus Pilates equipment with a number of small props to encourage optimal form throughout each movement. The benefit of our small group classes provides you with individual attention. Creative group classes are conducted primarily on the Pilates Reformer.

Private, Duet and Group sessions are available by appointment.

"I simply cannot say enough, or speak highly enough of Holly Wallis. Holly introduced me to Pilates after I suffered multiple serious injuries from a motor vehicle collision. I was amazed how quickly after starting Holly's Pilates program I noticed an increase in my upper body, back and core strength...I feel very safe, secure and empowered in Holly's presence, and would highly recommend her to anyone recovering from an injury or wanting to become fitter, stronger and healthier. Pilates with the help of Holly Wallis has changed my life! There is now light at the end of my tunnel." - JH
