About Us

Cathy Nagel

Pilates Teacher
Cathy discovered Pilates in 2007 along with her husband. She found Pilates to be exactly what her body needed. Having some chronic musculoskeletal and alignment issues, Pilates is the only form of exercise that helped Cathy feel her best.

Cathy has since completed the Body Harmonics Mat & Reformer Certification program, and has been actively pursuing additional training in Functional Anatomy and Biomechanics. She has discovered that she has a passion for helping other people find ways to move their bodies in a way that is safe and healing.

In addition to her Pilates credentials, Cathy also has a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from CSU Long Beach, and has been a medical social worker most recently. As a mother of a young boy, she feels like she needed more balance in her life and her passion for Pilates offers just that.
